FAQ

What makes your clinic unique?

Our priority is to provide optimal treatment with minimal pain. We also try to engage with your home country dentists as much as possible for your lifelong oral health.

What type of treatment do you specialize in?

Our key feature is in pediatric care and prevention. We also specialize in all aspects of dentistry, including dentures, caries, and root canals to serve the whole family.

Why do you focus on treating children?

Visiting the dentist properly from childhood is the key to early detection and early treatment.

We focus on orthodontic treatment in childhood based on the evidence that orthodontic treatment in childhood from the viewpoint of preventive intervention leads to the prevention of tooth extraction in the future and to a healthy dental alignment in the long run.

Why did you become a dentist?

I love to eat and wanted to eat with my teeth for my whole life.

What infection control measures are in place?

Infection control measures are one of our top priorities. We take measures of the same standard as those taken at university hospitals.

All items that come in contact with the patient’s mouth, including tools for curving teeth, are sterilized for each patient.

My child doesn’t like going to the dentist.

We do not treat patients the first time unless there is an emergency.

We also have a TV in the examination room to make treatment enjoyable.

Do you provide implant treatment?

I also worked at an implant center, so I will listen carefully to the patient’s needs. If we determine that more advanced implant treatment or self-funded root canal treatment is necessary, we will suggest a referral to a nearby doctor who specializes in that treatment.

I have a dental phobia, is that okay?

Based on our experience in the U.S., we also provide an option using laughing gas in our clinic.

What is the best thing a patient has ever said to you?

I was happy when parents who initially came to me for their children’s treatment said, “Would you treat me too?”.

It was also very rewarding when a patient on a house call said to me, “Thanks to you, I am enjoying my meal these days.”.

What do you normally do?

I am a mother of three elementary school kids, a Shiba dog, and a rabbit. I am trying to work it out daily through trial and error.

Conclusion

As you can see from my background, I have worked in many fields of dentistry.

With this experience, we will try our best to provide the optimal treatment options with minimal pain for each patient.
